Simplifying a scheme to make it work.
At Pentire, SMT Associates redesigned an extension forming three additional apartments alongside six refurbished apartments. The redesign simplified the scheme and improved the internal layouts.
Addressing the planning concerns
The redesign directly addressed the concerns raised about the original proposals (parking provision and bedroom numbers), and the necessary amendments were secured through planning and Building Regulations.
SMT then supported delivery of the completed nine-apartment development.
